We were moved to a sister hotel the Steiger Elbschloesschen 200m away, due renovations pulled forward. Good comms about change and we ended up with an upgrade hotel.

Located in the center, this place is right across the par - close to bakeries, restaurants, walking distance to giant supermarket and and other attractions which was perfect. Host lady was exceptionally lovely and helpful. It's not a flashy new place but all the amenities were clean and well kept. Large common area was big and relaxing. There is free coffee machine, which also make hot chocolate. There was fridge with your designated space so I was able to make my own meals there.

We had a great time and enjoyed much the activities proposed!
We like the location very much. It is calm and near to the center of the Elbsandsteingebirge. Especially hiking and also climbing is possible and the landscape is beautiful. You can choose a lot of diffenernt hiking-trails and everyone is able to find a hike that fits to his fitness-level.
