I was arriving the day of a Euro 2024 game, I had asked if early check in was possible but was told because the hotel was fully booked I couldn't check in early which is fair enough, but I could store my luggage until check in time. Which was the option I was going to do.
When I arrived early and asked to store my luggage I was told that my room was ready and I could check in. This was fantastic as I was able to get changed, get food from the great restaurant and then head back to the city centre to enjoy the atmosphere there before going to the match.

The nearby town of Esslingen was much more interesting.
The nearby town of Esslingen was much more interesting. I understand Ostfildern was heavily damaged during the war, so doesn't have the charming medieval buildings and streets of Esslingen. We did visit the Ostfildern cemetery which was interesting, but all in all, not much in the town itself. I did have a terrific trout dinner at the hotel though!
I stayed at this hotel for one night and it was okay, but not great. The location is easy to find and hotel has a parking, which is a plus. Room was a good size and the bathroom was clean. The breakfast was average, nothing to write about.
Huge rooms, family friendly, abundant and fresh breakfast and very helpful staff! The hotel is beautifully decorated and is spotlessly clean. We would definitely stay here again!
