The staff was wonderful. The newly remodeled apartments were beautifully done and the spa was beautiful. Breakfast and dinner were amazing.

We stayed in a junior suite with a quirky staircase to the bedroom. The accommodation was light and airy with a stove-top and fridge - enough to prepare a a light meal. As we were self-catering, we didn’t eat in the hotel. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and our balcony enjoyed the afternoon and evening sun. The accommodation is walking distance to the Schauinsland cable car down to Freiburg.

The staff is very friendly, we truly felt welcome and immediately received tips on what to do in the neighbourhood. We liked the style of the hotel, its traditional German with character. In addition the hotel has a nice, charming restaurant with a good menu. For us, the fact that the hotel even had a spa area was truly a bonus. We enjoyed it a lot during our stay.
The hotel was super clean and the apartment was new (I dont know about the rooms). Im sure there was no better place to spend or vacation at than this place. The staff was friendly the location is perfect.. walking distance from a cafe, pharmacy, playground, and a restaurant. the nature is breath taking. It’s just the perfect escape.

It is very traditional in style and was super clean.
The lady who spoke to us mostly was delightful (she’ll know who she was) everyone was lovely but she was fab.
The dinner was delicious and so much choice at breakfast.
The staff were incredibly friendly and the hotel was beautiful and so, so clean! The views and surroundings were stunning, I’ve never stayed somewhere so picturesque.
