Large room with sofa and ample storage. Spacious traditional bathroom with large bath and powerful hot water in the shower. Very kind and thoughtful staff who helped us with our limited German. If you can afford it we recommend the restaurant with it's excellent menu. Breakfast was good though and made you feel at home. Nearby cafe bar also worth a visit for a beer and good food.

We stayed in a junior suite with a quirky staircase to the bedroom. The accommodation was light and airy with a stove-top and fridge - enough to prepare a a light meal. As we were self-catering, we didn’t eat in the hotel. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and our balcony enjoyed the afternoon and evening sun. The accommodation is walking distance to the Schauinsland cable car down to Freiburg.

The hotel was super clean and the apartment was new (I dont know about the rooms). Im sure there was no better place to spend or vacation at than this place. The staff was friendly the location is perfect.. walking distance from a cafe, pharmacy, playground, and a restaurant. the nature is breath taking. It’s just the perfect escape.
Gorgeous location in the Schwarzwald with plenty of hiking and mountain bike trails at your doorstep. Excellent apartment with a great bathroom and a beautiful view from the balcony. Nice sights in the area as well such at the mining museum. Great breakfast and Flammkuchen evening for hotel guests.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Our room was lovely and big with interesting pieces of furniture in it. The village that the hotel is set in is very pretty and we ate in a very friendly restaurant there recommended by the hotel.

The lady who spoke to us mostly was delightful (she’ll know who she was) everyone was lovely but she was fab.
The dinner was delicious and so much choice at breakfast.
