We came in the winter so it was extremely quiet but this hotel is right on the lake so I can imagine how booked up this hotel gets then!
The bedroom was a fantastic size and the bed was extremely comfortable. I liked the shower alcove as well, it was a good little touch!
We reached out beforehand to ask about us bringing our dog and they said it was no problem. Our dog loved the quietness and how big the room was so we could throw his toys and get some energy out!
Let me just say that the staff is great! We arrived late, but we warned about this by letter. we were sent instructions on where the key to the room would be! The hotel is easy to find even though it is out of town. The hotel is located on the shore of a beautiful lake! the room is not small, the bed is comfortable, but the soundproofing is simply not there!!!
It was a clean room and the personnel was really kind and caring. The Hotel printed my ticket for the ferry to Norway. Breakfast was excellent with fresh ingredients (bread, ham, cheese, muesli, juice, coffee, tea and son on...)
I booked room for one night, but I extend my stay one day more, because hotel view and service is amazing, very peaceful and amazed location, mesmerizing atmosphere and lake view room was beautiful. it's totally worth it.
Small and cosy hotel, very good food at breakfast but also at dinner and friendly staff. And an impressive whisky bar with more than 100 sorts of whiskys.
