A beautiful old building just a few minutes walk from town centre. Staff were most welcoming: professional and friendly. A lovely touch was the personal notes for guests in reception (not 24 hour).
Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Breakfast is great. Loads of choice and plenty of it. There's a coffee machine available all day.

All worked very well, even though we arrived when the reception was already closed. The hotel was easily reachable by car and, at the same time, it turned out to be practically in the centre. The room had everything we needed, including a solid breakfast.

Herford is my hometown so I am biased. I love returns to home as so much to do.The MARTa museum is brilliant. Wonderful surroundings for walking and mountain biking. Good places to eat out. Recommend Kupferherz and La Taverna. Shopping is a bit limited but Bielefeld near by. Cafe Kleine for breakfast. Give it a try! The churches are well worth checking out too. So serene and beautiful - and I am not a Christian.
The Hotel was the perfect location for my visit to Herford. The staff were very helpful and very kindly spoke to me in English. I would thoroughly recommend this Hotel and I will certainly stay there again on my next visit.
