Breakfast was fine. Typical continental breakfast with fresh rolls and good jam and cheese.
The bedroom, beds and bedding were very comfortable and f a high standard. The shower was excellent.
Unfortunately, as we faced the road, there was quite a lot of noise from farm vehicles late into the night, but this was otherwise a quiet village very convenient for the motorway.

This hotel seems to be only partly open in January. That's their prerogative, but they should make that clear when people book. We arrived to a locked door with our room key taped to a window and the pre-booked food was not there - apparently because an email about it had not been received. Fortunately we could look after ourselves, but it was disappointing after a long drive.
