This hotel was generally a good choice for us traveling with a 2-year old and a 3.5-year old, because of the following:
- Little playing corner for kids on the second floor
- Extremely friendly staff
- Well furnished flat with sufficient room for luggage
- Small gift when we left (for the kids as well - they absolutely loved it)
- Very nice location next to a park with some wooden statues - we went there in winter and just sledged around in this park to discover the different statues under the snow, the kids loved it)
This country-style hotel in Grafenhausen is a comfortable base from which to explore scenic highlights of the Upper Black Forest such as the Schlüchtsee lake and Wutach Gorge.

The bar is very cozy and has very friendly staff, ate one dinner here and both me and my co worker enjoyed the food very much. TIP: Reserver a spot if you wanna eat here, we almost didn't get a spot at the restaurant when we came.
The breakfast didn't have a massive selection of food but it was good enough!
The hotel itself stands out as pretty new with nice interior. The free 2x beer and water that is restocked every day was a nice bonus!

The location, building, and staff were amazing. The hotel is a traditional Black Forrest house but the installations are relatively modern and, more importantly, very clean! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is served as a buffet and it has choices for everyone: homemade bread, homemade jams, muesli, juices, etc. The sauna area was also very nice: modern installations with a relaxing outside area with view to the surrounding fields.

Calm village. On the back of the hotel there are parking places as well.
