The property is in a pastoral setting, so the chatter of the birds is the usual sound heard. Close to Geiselwind just off the A3, with its wealth of restaurants, it is an exceptional place to stay if one is a dedicated tourist. The breakfast was simple but lovely. Unfortunately no gluten free option, but I was still absolutely satisfied. The location is perfect. Close to the highway and to restaurants. Even the park was very close.
Geiselwind is a small town with a few hotels. There is a supermarket and pharmacy, a bank and a few businesses. To the West is a leisure area. It's an easy drive off the autobahn and little difficulty finding facilities. The locals are welcoming. For me it was fantastic however, not a place for the party lover. I stayed at the Krone hotel. Facilities, food and staff were all excellent.
Brilliant hotel if a little expencive. The staff are great and very helpful. We stayed in this hotel twice in two weeks because its very quiet but only 3 klms from the motorway. We would use this hotel again & recommend it to fellow travelers.
