We loved this classic motor court with large rooms and comfortable beds. Very quiet location with easy on off major highways just a few kilometers away. We’ve stayed twice and had great meals in the on-site restaurant: dinner as well as breakfasts. Owners are wonderful hosts and very kind.

We have travelled to Buccholz in der Nordheide a number of times. It is close to shops, hiking and other attractions. This time we also went for the little Christmas market. It snowed for the entire week which made it lovely! For children, there is an open air museum and a wildlife park locally which are both worth visiting.
A car is the easiest way to travel in the area but there is a train station for further afield

Our hotel in Buchholz in der Nordheide was ideally situated close to the autobahn and a great base to explore further afield around Harburg, in Lower Saxony, and even into Denmark. And for city lovers it is situated only 25kms from Hamburg which can be easily explored before returning to this area for well earned relaxation.

This is a fantastic place with own history and the best restraunt we met in Germany (from my point of view). The property manager is wonderful man: very polite and positive. The rooms are ok, there's also a working place in the room (thanks for this!), so I would recommend this hotel for everyone who drives on north region and needs to stay.
I loved the hotel! As a frequent traveler who has visited many places around the world, I can say that this hotel served the best deer steak I've ever had in my life. It was a delightful surprise, especially coming from such a small, quiet place.
A modern and clean hotel.
Family run who were all very helpful.
Location is good a short drive to the Motorway network.
Rooms were large, ( possibly biggest we have seen all week in more more pensive hotels).
Bathroom also a good size.
