We (2 adults with 3 young kids) liked that it was quiet, very spacious, clean and very well equipped. It was a perfect overnight stay for us as it was close to the motorway. We could park in front of the house and our oldest could enjoy the nice playground next to the house. We were also provided two cribs for our twins. The local supermarket is 100m away from the accommodation where we got the delicious German bakery goods from. The host was very friendly and really wanted us to feel as comfortable as possible. All in all, we did not miss a thing.

The town has a few pleasant 18th to early 19th C town houses, and a modest parish church. Most are strung along the single street, with the train station at one end, and the Schloss at the other (about 20-25 mins walk apart).
The Schloss is the real highlight. Otherwise, the town is rather limited in interest.
The town offers very limited accommodation, and rather few restaurants.

Spacious, high standard, modern room with pleasant ambiance, view. Quiet countryside location, near small historic village. Excellent for relaxed stopover and visit of Bad Arolsen palace.
The room was spacious, clean and the bed comfortable. Parking was easy, no charge. In front of the hotel or behind. Good breakfast. Nice Coffee, excellent breed.
