Hotel Blüchertal, hotel in Bacharach

This traditional hotel is set in the beautiful wine-producing region of the Middle Rhine Valley, a world cultural heritage site.

Our rooms were clean, comfortable, and located next to each other per our request. After hours arrival was really easy and we were able to gain access to our rooms quickly and with no issue. Our rooms were large and fit our family perfectly.

Ferienwohnung Bacharach, hotel in Bacharach

This apartment is a 3-minute walk from the River Rhine, and 10 minutes from the center of Bacharach. Ferienwohnung Bacharach offers a fully equipped kitchen, and a terrace.

A short 10-minute walk from the train station you will find this incredibly spacious house with its own private deck. In spite of the train tracks running parallel to the house down and across the street, the trains going by didn’t keep us from getting a good sleep. The owners live on the first floor so there are just a few steps to climb to the 2nd floor apartment. The house was spotless, the beds very comfortable, great shower and water pressure and the kitchen well furnished should you want to cook. Yes, it’s on the opposite end of Bacharach’s Marktplatz, but a very pleasant 15-minute stroll away. A wonderful bakery is just down the street from the house. Tomi’s, the market which had a nice selection of groceries, is close to the Marktplatz. We enjoyed the provided coffee and tea.

A charming little town with all the facilities you need, but not too busy (in autumn), and not over commercialised. Good choice of eating/drinking places. Flat walks along the river or steep walks into the vineyards. Lots of attractive building. One of my favourite places.

Bacharach is a great first stop after landing in Frankfurt...

Bacharach is a great first stop after landing in Frankfurt airport, about an hour away. It’s a well maintained, walkable cozy village with a lot of character, half timbered charm, meadows, cathedral, castle and walking trails. It is a perfect location to take day trips along the Rhein’s multiple castles and the KD boat dock in right there. People are very friendly. The town goes to bed early, not all restaurants were open and shopping is limited but we found it to be sufficient and had plenty other shopping opportunities later in our trip. It was my second time staying in Bacharach and I’d do it again and stay longer.

Bacharach is a must see town!!

Bacharach is a must see town!! Just the beauty and peacefulness of this small town and the views of vineyards everywhere was eye opening for us! We did the Rhine River cruise to the town of St Goar and the sights along the way!! WOW! Castles everywhere! Beautiful vineyards everywhere & such an enjoyable large boat with seating both inside & outside on the top or the bottom! They served wine, liquor, food and more! Later we walked across the street from our hotel to a wine tasting event. This part of our vacation was riding trains through many different areas of Europe and the train station here was close to our hotel so we just walked there w/our suitcases. This is truly a fairy tale town!

Bacharach is one of my favorite locations. I stayed here the first time I ever visited Germany, and I keep coming back. If you come here, try the local wine, and please respect the residents of the town and the beautiful environment.

Very nice town, which was quite suprising for us.

Very nice town, which was quite suprising for us. Alongside the rhein river. Many classical half-timbered houses. Nice surroundings. Very quiet. Not many (any?) open restaurants on a monday evening (passing through, just for one night).

It was a nice experience to stay at Bacharacher Hof. It was really CLEAN. I am very strict on cleanness but here I would say it is beyond my expectation. The stuffs there were very nice and friendly. This hotel is dog friendly as well. Please do let them know beforehand if you visit with your dog when make the booking. Their breakfast was delicious. The hotel is close to the main attractions and close to the restaurants. The breakfast is very diverse and with good products. The room we got was big and very clean. Bacharach is a wonderful town where many activities can be carried out: riding the byke, climb to the Castle or old tower, close to other castles on Rhine valley etc.
