The view from the sleeping room, living and kitchen are great.
The apartment bigger and clean. We have not expected the size. The kitchen has all you need and also they have mini bar if you want wine, beer or water and the price is ok!
They also provide you coffe machine with the coffee bean and tea!
The location of the village is above the mountain and you cant walk to Bacharach. The journey to bacharach is about 10 minutes and has stunning view of the wine valley!
The owner is really friendly.
We have enjoyed our stay!

The breakfast was good and we stored our bicycles safely - albeit there was no one to ask

This room was almost a suite. I will add though, that the bathroom, which contained a toilet and the shower, as VERY small. But the room did have air conditioning.
Located within a historic castle, this 4-star hotel offers gourmet cuisine, romantic rooms with great views of the medieval town of Oberwesel and the Rhine River Valley.

-The view from the castle isolates you from the world we live in. Like time-traveling.
-Kindness of the staff. It's good to see smiling faces and people who find solutions.
-The garden and the path around castle was a big surprise. Full with interesting corners to discover. Bring walking shoes.
-The service at the restaurant for dinner was excellent.
-Breakfast was good.
-At the museum of the castle (which is basically a tower) there's a nice senior gentleman who tells you interesting stories.
-It's clear that the interior decoration is a work of someone with a taste. Nice tiny details everywhere.

Very small room in an old building. If you are visiting Bacharach to reach this hotel possible just by ferry.

A charming little town with all the facilities you need, but not too busy (in autumn), and not over commercialised. Good choice of eating/drinking places. Flat walks along the river or steep walks into the vineyards. Lots of attractive building. One of my favourite places.

Bacharach is a great first stop after landing in Frankfurt...
Bacharach is a great first stop after landing in Frankfurt airport, about an hour away. It’s a well maintained, walkable cozy village with a lot of character, half timbered charm, meadows, cathedral, castle and walking trails. It is a perfect location to take day trips along the Rhein’s multiple castles and the KD boat dock in right there. People are very friendly. The town goes to bed early, not all restaurants were open and shopping is limited but we found it to be sufficient and had plenty other shopping opportunities later in our trip. It was my second time staying in Bacharach and I’d do it again and stay longer.

Bacharach is a must see town!!
Bacharach is a must see town!! Just the beauty and peacefulness of this small town and the views of vineyards everywhere was eye opening for us! We did the Rhine River cruise to the town of St Goar and the sights along the way!! WOW! Castles everywhere! Beautiful vineyards everywhere & such an enjoyable large boat with seating both inside & outside on the top or the bottom! They served wine, liquor, food and more! Later we walked across the street from our hotel to a wine tasting event. This part of our vacation was riding trains through many different areas of Europe and the train station here was close to our hotel so we just walked there w/our suitcases. This is truly a fairy tale town!

Bacharach is one of my favorite locations. I stayed here the first time I ever visited Germany, and I keep coming back. If you come here, try the local wine, and please respect the residents of the town and the beautiful environment.

Very nice town, which was quite suprising for us.
Very nice town, which was quite suprising for us. Alongside the rhein river. Many classical half-timbered houses. Nice surroundings.
Very quiet. Not many (any?) open restaurants on a monday evening (passing through, just for one night).

public parking was only 100m away so it was an easy walk to the hotel.
The old elevator is very small - just enough room for 2 people and our two hand carry bags but, initially, no light working inside the elevator.
There was a good selection of breakfast items.
The location was excellent - almost in the centre of the delightful town.
The beds are great as is the airco (in the attic, room 30). At breakfast you will meet the first staff, only responsible for catering. You can store your bike in the hotel. The location of the hotel is great.
