Surprisingly amazing and various breakfast was awesome. Friendly Christmas feeling at the hotel and moreover the whole city. Stuff was kind as well the hotel itself is more like a “business casual” place but satisfied anyway. Brno at Christmas is worth the visit.

The 2nd largest Czech city, Brno is a centre of Moravian culture, surrounded by lush countryside. The twin spires of the hilltop Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul dominate the neighbouring Bishops Palace, while the nearby square houses the Moravia Museum and Reduta Theatre, both the oldest in the country.
Beneath the square is Brno Underground, a maze of medieval tunnels and cellars that once housed wine produced in the surrounding region. There is an annual wine festival here, but the largest event is the Ignis Brunensis fireworks competition by Brno Lake to the north-west, lined by trees that hide Veveří Castle.
A less grand castle - Špilberk - sits on a hill in the city centre. At its feet is Masaryk University, the 2nd largest in the Czech Republic. The city’s Mendel University is named after the genetics founder who was abbot of St Thomas’ Abbey, where a museum commemorates his work.
The nearby Brno Exhibition Centre is of functionalist design, but the most important example of this architectural style is UNESCO World Heritage-listed Villa Tugendhat. On the opposite side of the city is Masaryk Circuit, home of the Czech MotoGP.
The Brno accommodation on Booking.com includes cheap hostels near the train station, guest houses near Freedom Square and hotels by Brno-Tuřany Airport.

An attractive small city with well preserved buildings...
An attractive small city with well preserved buildings dating from medieval, through 18th century to art nouveau. A beautiful cathedral atop a hill, likewise a fine fortress castle. A fine market, the oldest theatre in Europe, historic one-time celebrities, including the wonderful Janacek - the Janacek house can be visited. Compact and easy to around with fine trams for those that don't like to walk. Good cafe life but restaurants less inspiring. Overall, ideal for a 2 o3 day visit.

Its little bit weird.
Its little bit weird. Its like weekend place for locals and German pensioners. If you dont like drinking beer there is nothing else that you can do (exception "Veveri hrad"- nice place).
All over the destination we couldnt see that someone drinks coffee or juice.. too many drunkards in the streets.. this destination is not worth the long yourney (but orea resort corrects that feeling!)

Brno is my favorite city in Czech Republic. Brno has the best tram network I have ever met (but I've met a lot). Super local breweries in the center as well as in the outskirt. Beautiful historical city center with good restaurants and pubs.

BIG BONUS: The lake area with all sorts of sporting options or just for a day enjoying the sun and some swimming.
Nice price level in general - much more affordable than e.g. Prague

This hotel is located in a very nice place - near a public transport stop but it's also possible to walk to the city centre in about 20 minutes. There's the Lužánky park nearby so it was a rescue for us during the summer heat. Moreover, very high ceilings helped with that too - the temperature in our apartment was comportable. We had all the necessary stuff and everything was clean.
Iconic hotel, wonderfully restored. Close to all attractions in the town including restaurants and bars. Guests have free access to the museum between 07.30 to 10.30.
There is a roof top terrace with probably the best view in Brno.
Staff were friendly and welcoming especially Aneta on reception who was really enthusiastic in promoting all this unique hotel has to offer.
I had a room on the side of the city centre with a beautiful view which really I appreciated. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the WIFI strong, staff carrying and nice. Excellent breakfast with a large selection and tasty food. The hotel is easy to find and close to the city centre within walking reach.
Very clean, smart hotel, friendly helpful staff. A good place to stay. Quiet location, plenty of parking. Regular bus to city centre. Lovely breakfast.
