I cannot rate this place highly enough!
Firstly the village is picturesque and the views from our room and terrace were phenomenal.
The rooms are of a high standard including the spectacular bathroom (I highly recommend making time for a jacuzzi bath!). And it had all the amenities we needed like tea and coffee making stuff.
Lovely breakfast too.
The staff went out of their way to help us and make the stay extra special.
I would definitely head back!

Perfect place for your winter get away! Cozy traditional house ,with all the amenities you need, fireplace for winter (woods provided!!) heating and hot water! The view from the house is stunning! Super clean and comfy! I would definitely recommend and visit again!

Potamitissa itself doesn’t have things to do. However, villages such as Pelendri, Agros, Kyperounta are near by and have plenty of things to do. Do visit the taiakkas winery near pelendri for a nice immersive experience. We enjoyed a lovely dinner in the Symposio Taverna in pelendri.

We loved the remote area set in a true Cypriot style! The courtyard the restaurant and layout was beautiful! We did book the superior room and it did not disappoint us, it was very comfortable with a beautiful view of the mountains! The sound of the birds singing in the morning was amazing!
The jaccuzzi was perfect after our travelling !
There was a good menu to choose from and we would definiteley recommend a stay here if you need peace, a place to unwind and cut off from the stress of everyday life 😊

Wonderful stay at the lovely Ambelikos Hotel. The place is made up with lot of love and care. It is very calming and relaxing. To sit in the courtyard or at the pool area, and just enjoy the time and silence.
Antonio and Viktoria are very lovely friendly people, taking care so much. The food and the wine have been great. There are great possibilities in the mountains nearby for hiking or just going for a nice walk. To visit the winerys or the rose factory nearby is also a great possibility.
Lots of different places to enjoy: our own balcony, the courtyard, by the fire in the lounge. The village is lovely and you can walk all the way along well marked trails up to the observatory. Don’t miss out on dinner at the hotel, it’s really delicious. We will definitely come again in summer to enjoy the pool.
We loved the atmosphere and location of the hotel. This experience would have been great if we would have felt more welcomed. However, you can have a lovely quiet getaway in the mountains here.
Location was really great. Also a big hotel is just 7 mins from there, in case you need food in the night or something else. Another good thing was that the water was always hot.
