We loved the location, as we were able to do two excellent hikes. (One from the hotel, Boca de Figueiral to Cha de Padre Cima, which we highly recommend. We also hiked to the crater. )
The restaurant was wonderful, we enjoyed the. vegan offerings on several nights. Breakfast was ample and delicious.
The staff were exceptional, answering every question and assisting with any requests.
We highly recommend this hotel.

Alfa-Apartamento in Paul is a hidden gem! The apartment was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and a balcony with stunning views of the valley and mountains.
The location is perfect for exploring Santo Antão’s incredible hiking trails, and the hosts were amazing—so welcoming and helpful with tips on what to do and where to eat.
It’s peaceful, beautiful, and feels like home. If you’re heading to Paul, this is the place to stay. Can’t recommend it enough!
