We loved the Orosi Lodge! Room was lovely, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Seating outside our room overlooked the gardens and the town. And the staff was fantastic, providing maps and detailed information on things to do and places to eat in the area. We would love to return.

5 mins drive down the road from Escalar Cachi, the local climbing area -- basically an outdoor climbing gym, with potable water, toilets, guides, top ropes on most routes, a swimming pool, and a nearby river too. Also includes a camping area.
25 mins drive from Paraiso, 1 hour from Volcan Irazu and the Prusia sector forest. A bit further from Turrialba, which was closed due to volcanic activity / covid when I visited.
