Kevin and Tannia, the hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived in the late evening. Tannia drove us to the nearby grocery store to buy few essentials. The bungalow was facing tropical forest and had mountain view. The hotel is surrounded by a lot of nature and feel very relaxing. An exceptional place to enjoy the quite place.
The facilities are extremely good and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with great view over looking the mountains. I recommend the hotel for the other guests and families.

There are lots of animals that live in and around the hotel - really fun to see peacocks and coati’s just wandering around.

My stay at Coffee Mountain in the enchanting Forest of Atenas was an absolute delight. Tucked away above the clouds, this hidden gem provided a truly magical experience. From the moment we arrived, Olga and her husband welcomed us with warm smiles and genuine hospitality.
First and foremost, the view from Coffee Mountain is simply breathtaking. Nestled amidst the lush greenery of the forest, we were treated to panoramic vistas that seemed straight out of a fairytale. Waking up to the sight of clouds rolling over the treetops was a surreal and unforgettable experience.
Our room was both comfortable and impeccably clean. Olga and her husband took great care in ensuring that every detail was attended to. The bed was cozy, the linens were fresh, and we had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. It truly felt like a home away from home.
One of the highlights of our stay was when Olga's husband climbed the limon tree to fetch us some fresh citrus for our lemonade. It was a delightful surprise and a testament to their dedication to providing an exceptional experience for their guests. The personal touch and attention to detail made us feel truly special.
I must also mention that the price of our stay at Coffee Mountain was incredibly affordable. It was almost too good to be true

Atenas is a beautiful town in the low mountains of central Costa Rica. The climate is moderate and dry. The town is very authentic and on Sundays you can find many families in the Central Park enjoying family time. The best part is that Atenas is not overrun with tourists. Definitely one of my favourite spots in the country and I have visited ma y areas of Costa Rica.

Cute small town. Lovely to walk from the hotel to town. There are some hills so good if you like to walk. Good to ask about restaurants or where to get good coffee. There is great coffee from Holland and sweets ay the south corner of the park & a place called Tica cafe looked good but it was closed.Weather was warm but there was a nice breeze. Lots of laces to get groceries. Very helpful people !

It's an interesting area if you are adventurous in your driving habits. The weather can make for disappointing outdoor afternoons but the views from up in the clouds at Barons are great - if and when they clear !

This is the town that we have chosen to spend our retirement in. It has all that a small town can offer including good restaurants and very friendly people. its proximity to many of Costa Ricas attractions makes it an ideal place to use as a starting point for many adventures. less than an hour to downtown San Jose, the beach, Poas volcano, and many more fun places.

Atenas is a quiet small town know for having the best climate in the world. It is an easy drive from the airport, yet away from the hustle-bustle. It does help to speak Spanish, as many of the locals do not speak English.

Despite the newest reviews we decided to stay at this Hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the views were amazing!
In our room the hot shower worked perfectly and the bed was comfortable.
There were a few ants but I didn’t stay at any place in Costa Rica where I did not find a few ants.
