This was our third visit to Colombia, but first time at Four Points by Sheraton. Breakfast was the best we’ve ever had in Colombia. So many options and everything was delicious. Staff members memorized the favorite drink of each member of my family and served us automatically each morning without requesting, so sweet.
Location is perfect, close to Santafé Mall and with a connecting door to the Oviedo Mall.

Would highly recommend doing a centre tour by ‘Matt’ on electric tricycles. It’s a unique way to explore the city and you support a good charity with it!

Medellin is a beautiful city. If you want to know the people and country be out the Poblado party area. The last time I went was seven years ago. Stay at Emvigado, Los Laureles ect. Travel on the bus with the people. Visit local restaurants, that is the real Colombia and Medellin.

Clean city ( save for the Botero Park downtown). Very much enjoyed the visit to Comuna 13 AND day trip to Guatape. 3 nights is a good time.
Great public transportation with metro and cable car. Very clean. Safe using Uber and reasonable prices for rides.
Poblanco area is nice but nothing special. Better staying in the Laureles area.
Great the lights show during Christmas period at the Parque del Rio. Good food and drinks from the stalls. Great atmosphere

I didn't like the penalty on missed flights and an...
I didn't like the penalty on missed flights and an exorbitant charge on name difference. I understand the policy and I am not disputing that. It's the $200.00 US dollars that was charged when the noble employees cleaning the rooms don't even 10% of that money per day. It's an organized robbery. There's a policy, but the policy should have a price listed, instead of a supervisors' arbitrary ruling on how much a mistake in a name should be penalized.

Serrania hostel is the best hostel where you could stay to discover Medellín. You will feel home from moment 0. Diana and Erwin are two amazing people that can teach a lot about the city and Colombia to travelers. The food they serve is also delicious. Plus, the location is perfect if you want to discover the city.
Centrally located near the busy streets of Laureles, Hotel Aura provides easy acsess to restaurants, clubs, bars and supermarkets without the hustle of the bar streets. The room was spacious enough and the matress one the best I had in Colombia.
Amazing hotel with great facilities (free laundry, steamers in room, multiple food options on site and close by, free tea and coffee daily). Kind staff and very helpful. The best stay during our time in Colombia
