The rooms were nice and clean. We had a nice view of the city. Breakfast was not included so no comments on that. Location is great because is withing the shopping centre el tesoro where you can find literally anything. But not great if you want to explore the city. The staff was friendly

Would highly recommend doing a centre tour by ‘Matt’ on electric tricycles. It’s a unique way to explore the city and you support a good charity with it!

Medellin is a beautiful city. If you want to know the people and country be out the Poblado party area. The last time I went was seven years ago. Stay at Emvigado, Los Laureles ect. Travel on the bus with the people. Visit local restaurants, that is the real Colombia and Medellin.

Great public transportation with metro and cable car. Very clean. Safe using Uber and reasonable prices for rides.
Poblanco area is nice but nothing special. Better staying in the Laureles area.
Great the lights show during Christmas period at the Parque del Rio. Good food and drinks from the stalls. Great atmosphere

I didn't like the penalty on missed flights and an exorbitant charge on name difference. I understand the policy and I am not disputing that. It's the $200.00 US dollars that was charged when the noble employees cleaning the rooms don't even 10% of that money per day. It's an organized robbery. There's a policy, but the policy should have a price listed, instead of a supervisors' arbitrary ruling on how much a mistake in a name should be penalized.

The chance to make my own food in the very good kitchenette was fantastic! You have two superb supermarkets 3 blocks away. (And I must say: The groceries are better than most restaurants in Colombia.)

The pool on top off the hotel was a nice extra. The pool is open untill 9 p.m.
In the hotel was a restaurant 'Smash' where you could have a good breakfast and nice snacks for a reasonable amount of money.
About 10-15 min walking to metro station 'el Poblado'.
Definitly would recommend to stay here if you're in Medellìn
Really good hostel in a brilliant location. Less than 10 minutes from the Poblado station and about 15 minutes to Parque Lleras. The hostel is secure and spotless. The room was very comfortable. There was even a hot shower which you don't always get in Colombia!
If you look for an authentic Colombian atmosphere, a place to explore Medellín, or just stay an enjoy to chat.... You should stay at Gaston Coliving.
I had a great time, the team is incredible friendly and helpful.
