This is a camp in the wood with bungalows, so do not expect an hotel-style facility. We were two in a bungalow for seven people, so there was no shortage of space. The staff (Hans, particularly) was very kind, friendly, and helpful. On arrival, there was a problem with hot water, that Hans promptly solved. Hans, again, helped us with the wood-heater, as the temperature drops a lot at the night. The location is fantastic: at walking distance from the volcano's 'mirador' and a short drive to the entrance of the Conguillio National Park. Rooms are spacious enough and comfortable. Cleanliness almost impeccable.
Located 21 miles from Tolhuaca Volcano, Cabañas & Hostal Lefuco provides accommodations with a garden, a terrace and a 24-hour front desk for your convenience.
Featuring a garden, Cabaña Tres Volcanes features accommodations in Curacautín. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking, and free Wifi.
Nice town. Go to the Plaza de Armas before sunset and hear the noise from the ibis in the trees. Fuel your car whenever you get the chance - distances are long, and roads are steep. Note that there are some incredibly long stretches of one-way road work east of town - factor in extra travelling time.

A perfectly located town for visiting three national parks/reserves in the Araucania region with plenty options of tour operators, buses and restaurants with local market.
