As a single traveler, I appreciated finding a more traditional kind of hotel in a region where rural cabins tend to be more commonly on offer. I reserved a single room but was upgraded at no cost to a double, which I appreciated since I was there an entire week. The owners and staff were exceedingly gracious and helpful, happily offering suggestions for activities and information on the history of the region--a particular interest of mine--and going above and beyond to help me when I was dealing with a flat tire on the rental car. The property is very clean and comfortable, with a cozy common area that has a TV and sofas. A very filling breakfast was included in the price, and there was additionally a cafe available during the day--although the menu was limited, the food was tasty and served in generous portions, and the service was above average. Finally, the location was excellent--just a block off the central square and shops, and a short drive away from the natural wonders that are the main draw of the region, including Conguillio and Tolhuaca national parks and the Corralco ski resort. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this property.

This is a camp in the wood with bungalows, so do not expect an hotel-style facility. We were two in a bungalow for seven people, so there was no shortage of space. The staff (Hans, particularly) was very kind, friendly, and helpful. On arrival, there was a problem with hot water, that Hans promptly solved. Hans, again, helped us with the wood-heater, as the temperature drops a lot at the night. The location is fantastic: at walking distance from the volcano's 'mirador' and a short drive to the entrance of the Conguillio National Park. Rooms are spacious enough and comfortable. Cleanliness almost impeccable.
