Nice town. Go to the Plaza de Armas before sunset and hear the noise from the ibis in the trees. Fuel your car whenever you get the chance - distances are long, and roads are steep. A perfectly located town for visiting three national parks/reserves in the Araucania region with plenty options of tour operators, buses and restaurants with local market. The town has good connectivity with other major towns of Chile and town itself is walkable and has beautiful green centra plaza with many options for staying ranging from backpackers hostels to hotels.
