The property was located on the No4 Tram line, literally 30M approx from the door. It was really convenient and you could get to most places in the city within minutes.

I did take a walk through old town and it was quite enjoyable.

Zurich was our favorite stop in Switzerland. It has the energy of the city and the charm of the smaller towns. It is less touristy than Lucerne, which we found to be over priced and crowded. We can't wait to come back!

Zurich is a great place to stay. The city is beautiful and within walking distance to many sights. Zurich has restaurants, bars, shopping, museums and pretty waterways. It is also a great place to take a day trip from, to visit other parts of Switzerland.

Lovely city with quite a few things to view. Some lovely buildings to view and even an English pub! However, it is expensive to drink or dine so the traveller on a budget may be put off.
There is the opportunity to take a leisure boat. The train station is central.
The city is quite lively in terms of dining and restaurants and has a friendly feel. Several tourist attractions such as the locks on the bridge for lovers and the purchase of chocolate.

Fantastic place, take the trip up the hill to get a view of the city worth th Le train dare but invest in a 24 hour pass for public transport and then use it to ride the ferry on lake Zurich for the afternoon it was incredible. Would have loved to have spent a few more days in the city. Food and meals are on the expensive side so come prepared

The only nice thing on the entire trip was the tour that happenselle chocolate factory in cheese. Other than that it was the worst traffic and people situation I've ever been involved in ,,,stay away.!
Had to book a hotel last minute close to the airport as my flight was cancelled. Although I am thankful to have found a room, the price charged was very high in comparison to the quality of the hotel. I appreciate that this is Zurich, but the value for money is not commensurate in my view. Moreover, it is far away from the airport and can only be reached by shuttle if booked in advance. If not a taxi would set you back min. CHF 40 per ride!
Excellent location in delightful old town; close to Munster and ten minutes from wonderful main art gallery. Railway station (Stadelhofen) very close so taxi to main station or airport unnecessary. Room was comfortable with a good bed and large bathroom. Very clean. Towels changed every day. Our room was very quiet. More cupboard space than many 3 star hotels. Breakfast was fine. Reception staff (present 11am-8pm) very pleasant and helpful.
Location and the staff are excellent. Before Zurich, we stayed in 4 hotels in Switzerland and we rated all staff excellent...but one among them stood out the most, and that's Alex at Townhouse Boutique Hotel. Collins, of same hotel prepared, us (personal choice) the best Cafe Mocha we tasted in Switzerland. For the money paid, it's worth our stay.
Very friendly staff and conveniently located next to the station....only a few minutes to Zurich HB! You can take the short train ride from the airport to the HB and then to the Hotel. Much more affordable than a taxi.
Really nice hotel, outside city center but don't panic as it is only a short tram ride away from old town and central train station. Tram stop right outside the hotel. Price was good for Zurich. Nice 4 star hotel.
