This is simply an extraordinary location in the Alps! I spent 3 weeks touring on my motorcycle, and this was by far my highlight. This is a honest as you can get as a proper Swiss stay in the Alps. The bar, restaurant was just honest and original, fantastically good cold beers, and amazing food in large portions served piping hot. The rooms were authentically alpine acommodation, super comfortable and clean.

Breakfast employees were very kind and polite. And the location of the hotel is just perfect. I didnt do much so I dont know about activities there but you can walk there very nice.

The location of this hotel is amazing. Our room was on the top floor and waking up to the view was a dream. The staff are excellent - so friendly and always smiling. Excellent customer service. The self check-in is super easy. It's not like other hotels where there aren't staff around. There are staff in the restaurant and bar. Once you book, you will receive a confirmation email - at this stage give all your details (ID etc) so the check in goes super smoothly. I don't usually like a self check-in hotel but I would have no hesitation recommending this one. The food in the hotel is excellent. I had the same dish two nights in a row, it was so good!! Parking is excellent - secure underground parking and a connecting door to the hotel. While there is no air-conditioning, you can open the windows. I always want air conditioning but I happily sacrificed it for this beautiful experience. The train and bus station is a short 5-10 minute walk which takes you to Lucerne (it takes about half an hour). I don't usually go back to the same place twice but I'd definitely go back to this little gem!
