We had a lovely time staying here. The place is clean and beautifully decorated. The owner served us a simple breakfast of fresh bread and cheese and juice which we ate in the garden. The house is an easy 15-20 minute drive from the center of Bern or Thun.

Centrally located in the historic part of the city within walking distance for most tourist destinations. The buffet breakfasts were so generous I didn't need lunch. The hotel restaurant had excellent dinners as well, which featured venison. The staff were friendly and spoke a number of languages.

Spacious room, comfortable bed, friendly & helpful staff, good food, parking lot (extra charge 22 CHF per day). The receptionist helped me bring the extra blanket because I want to use the sofabed (no additional charge). She also offered me a free ticket for the bus or tram. There was also a water dispenser near the elevator for drinking. Very good experience in this hotel.
