Loved how central it was to the town. We chose to stay in Bern as a central city to travelling to Interlaken, Iseltwald and Zurich and it was the perfect decision. The bus stop was right outside our door and a 7 minute journey to Bern train station and 15 minutes walking distance. There are cafes, restaurants, the coop supermarket and souvenir shops on the same road so plenty to explore. Walking distance from the Aare river with lovely sights and the Zyttgloggen clock tower! The hotel was very cosy, room had plenty space and clean, bed was comfy and cleaned every day and the receptionist staff very friendly and helpful with recommending the local places to grab food from on our first night and giving us adaptors and pillows when asked. Would definitely recommend staying here for first time travellers to Bern/Switzerland.

Basic but clean and had a comfy bed and good shower. Breakfast was nice and it was handy having the guest kitchen. Staff were helpful and I loved their restaurant recommendation!

The hotel was a great size and comfortable for two people when visiting Bern. Breakfast was a great selection and we really enjoyed it! The computer-based check in was quite unclear for non-German speakers so come prepared - make sure you read your room number before you click next as it ONLY pops up there which can be a little confusing.
