The location between the train station and the lake is outstanding! The staff is welcoming and helpful. Rooms are spacious but not all have air conditioning. Rooms are clean with amenities. Dogs are welcome even in the restaurant. Parking onsite for a fee. Restaurant has a waterfront view and the food was well-prepared. Outside terrace is wonderful for relaxing or drinks.
Villa del Sole Garni is located in Ponte Tresa, a 20-minute walk from Lake Lugano. It offers accommodation with kitchenettes and terraces, overlooking Monte di Varese and Malcantone.

The staff is so nice. I ask for how to check out early before 6am, but the staff turned out to more concerned that I will miss the breakfast!

The room had a lovely balcony with a beautiful view of Lake Lugano. The room was clean and tidy. Reception was friendly and helpful, with the addition of a Nespresso machine to enjoy a coffee.
Reasonable breakfast selection. Good location for the town and activities.
The parking is a five minute walk at an additional cost in multi-storey car park Motta the reception will provide discounted parking so ask when you arrive.

This cute hotel was extremely clean and comfortable. Beautiful, charming, special facilities. Good bed, nice furniture, all new. Balcony with view in my individual room. Bathroom with window to ventilate. Super friendly staff. Open garden for breakfast, was amazing in a summer morning. Good breakfast, with plenty of variety of bread, cheese, fruits, veggies, eggs, ham and cold meat. I am super pleased with the experience and I will repeat if I come back to Lugano. It was also super close to the train station, less than 5 minutes walk down the hill.
We stayed at Teresa Bay Hotel on a long drive to the Italian coast from the UK. We arrived tired and weary and left refreshed. The view from our superior room over the lake was stunning. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was huge and hot water was plentiful. We used the hotel parking for a small fee. The restaurant also overlooked the lake, so we had a couple of wonderful meals served by really friendly staff.
The hotel is a really good base for exploring the area. I highly recommend it.
Beautiful view across the lake, likeside property, very close to Ponte Tresa market on Saturday which was the reason for our stay. Great chairs on the large balcony perfect for absorbing some sun in Autumn! The hotel is located less than 100 m from the train station which connects to Lugano in 30 minutes.
Convenient ,just cross the street you can find the hotel from the train station.
