Really close to the station and the town centre. Clean and tidy with decent sized rooms and a nice shower. Breakfast was a tasty continental one with plenty of variety. Staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. WiFi was high speed and easy to access.

Amazing! Arrived as they were closing and they were nice to accommodate me and even closed the kitchen a bit late so I can have dinner :*-). Shoutout out to the nice waiter and amazing chef who put together an amazing and best spinach tortellini and chicken pea soup in my life! Very professional and friendly, and super clean and upgraded facility. Located walking distance to Mount Titlis cable car. Parking available in front. Beds were comfortable and clean. Highly recommend!

The view from the balcony is outstanding. We could see the entire town and mountains. Room is spacious and the carpet is bit dated. The entrance to the hotel is an experience in itself. Enjoyed the stay. Breakfast is average, not a big drawback.

Melchtal has a cablecar and a road up to the plateau at nearly 2000m with a lake Melchsee and a small church. There are many cows and cheese is made there. Surrounding the lake are glorious peaks up to 2600m and Tiflis and other 3000m mountains are in the distance.
On the lower level at the bottom of the cable car are much closer craggy peaks and the delightful Waldhaus guesthouse with it’s excellent restaurant.

Distance to ski lift, staff are genuine and attentive. Room is very hot. It's secluded and quite in a area good to walk in. Trust me, if your not addicted to WIFI and your phone and you like nature and peace you will love this place. In terms of the mountain, its amazing powerful and has something for everyone
