a very nice resort in a calm area. although the room was quite small, it had a spacious bathroom, a balcony and there is a very good shared kitchen on the floor.

Really nice place to spend some time close by to all the attractions of the "Berner Oberland".
Celine offered us a upgrade to a more comfortable room ... with a nice balcony and a view into the surrounding nature, totally quiet, and with almost all comfort (see below).
Breakfast in the morning in an amazing room with a stunning view on the famous Niesen - the mountain just oposite of Aeschi. On the buffet you can find a large variety of local specialities; including a homemade "Birchermüesli" (delicious!).

great location, view and breakfast. the only hotel serves fried egg (need to cook by yourself) in my 10 days trip in Swiss.
Venue is very secluded. This is meant for hikers and campers and not for families travelling place to place. The eating area is infested with flies that makes it very unhygienic.
The room has no air-conditioning and the window has no grills and makes it unsafe to be left open with children. This caused us to sleep in a window shut room making it extremely hot in the summer with only a fan to provide ventilation.
They have no hot water kettles to boil water for children

We traveled as 3 generations and there was something for all...
We traveled as 3 generations and there was something for all of us. We had so much fun and never even used our car. We loved the village and the hiking path along the river. The restaurant was very good. We also enjoyed the restaurant next door in the botanical garden and fish farm. We had a wonderful time and I would recommend this place to all families.
Great location, beautiful setting. Felt like a real Swiss cabin.The facilities were fantastic, best place we stayed during our entire Switzerland trip. I would definitely book again, wish we had stayed longer than one night. My children loved the goats at the back of the house.
A fantastic property right on the National Route 1.
Rooms were very clean,the view was amazing,and meals were excellent.
My bike was stored securely,and the host even organised breakfast early for me.
