I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights with my dog. I luckily got upgraded room to a larger, direct access to the terrace.
It was very spacious, bed mattress was new and comfortable, all the facilities were renovated so the cleanliness was excellent.
The surrounding view was exceptionally beautiful, and there were plenty of walking courses.
Breakfast was made with local ingredients which is great,small but filling.
All the staff were friendly, especially the owner, Celine. She was very professional and friendly. Thank you for her warm hospitality.

This was by far the best hotel I stayed in on my latest Alpine trek. I was given a very warm welcome (in unseasonably cold September weather!) and had a fantastic evening with good company, eating and drinking local food and beer. My room was lovely with a very rustic feel (everything seemed to be made of wood!), and the following morning’s breakfast featured freshly baked bread and honey straight from the hive tray. The two staff members I met were also helpful and friendly throughout my stay. Oh and the location is sensational!

Scenery is super, with the nice weather and the sun, the lake and the mountain stand besides. Is really nice.
Venue is very secluded. This is meant for hikers and campers and not for families travelling place to place. The eating area is infested with flies that makes it very unhygienic.
The room has no air-conditioning and the window has no grills and makes it unsafe to be left open with children. This caused us to sleep in a window shut room making it extremely hot in the summer with only a fan to provide ventilation.
They have no hot water kettles to boil water for children

We traveled as 3 generations and there was something for all...
We traveled as 3 generations and there was something for all of us. We had so much fun and never even used our car. We loved the village and the hiking path along the river. The restaurant was very good. We also enjoyed the restaurant next door in the botanical garden and fish farm. We had a wonderful time and I would recommend this place to all families.

Great location, beautiful setting. Felt like a real Swiss cabin.The facilities were fantastic, best place we stayed during our entire Switzerland trip. I would definitely book again, wish we had stayed longer than one night. My children loved the goats at the back of the house.
A fantastic property right on the National Route 1.
Rooms were very clean,the view was amazing,and meals were excellent.
