We have stayed here several times. There is ample parking behind the hotel or across the road. Staff on the front desk and at breakfast very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is always very good, continental with good selection. Our room was clean and comfortable. We have never had dinner there but there is an excellent Italian restaurant just two minutes walk down the road.

Everything about the property is beautiful and cozy, the staff was amazing, and we're welcoming. I had to leave early before breakfast, and they prepared something special for me in the morning to pick up at 5 am. Truly appreciated the effort.

Best view of lake and walking areas to parks with a good childrens park nearby. Nice to see old swiss building and customs Public transport good with bus to Stans and from there train to Lucern and Ettenbergen mountain area. Also nice cafes at nearby Beckenreid on lake . Close to tracks for mountain walking .

It was a very late booking, as our booked hotel in Beckenried was terrible. Hotel Krone was our save haven, which we stayed at a few years ago.
Lovely welcome by staff. Room was very spacious. Bathroom had a bath, with overhead shower. Everything worked. Breakfast was brilliant. Free parking across the road.
Buochs has much to offer, including a Coop supermarket nearby, with a Christian Beck restaurant.
We wanted something a little out of the way yet still about to appreciate the view. This provided everything in abundance. The accommodation was decadent with a beautiful balcony that you could sit and watch the surrounding lake and mountains until the stars glittered above. The room was glorious, the restaurant was amazing and the walks from the hotel just perfect.
Very friendly, traditional style hotel (it's kind of old-fashioned but not at all faded, it's really fresh). Room was small but comfortable and clean and prices are lower than comparable hotels in the region. Restaurant is exceptional, I consider it one of the best in the Lucerne area. I rate Sternen highly because of staff, atmosphere and food.
