Best view of lake and walking areas to parks with a good childrens park nearby. Nice to see old swiss building and customs Public transport good with bus to Stans and from there train to Lucern and Ettenbergen mountain area. Also nice cafes at nearby Beckenreid on lake . Close to tracks for mountain walking .

this is a really nice location. despite the proximity to the road road noise is not an issue whether inside or out. our room had a view of the lake with the mountains behind. the room was a good size with a huge bath you could have about four people in. the listing said two single beds and a sofa bed so I was expecting something close to hostel like accommodation and it really is leaps a bounds better. a decent hotel and quite reasonable beds. it also had a small kitchen area.
My room was big, quiet and lovely - overlooked a beautiful garden.
The hotel was well located and very comfortable.
The male manager was very kind and attentive.
