Overall excellence; staff, cleanliness, accommodations, and the food (dinner and breakfast) was possibly the best we've had so far this trip. Exceptional! Even though we found it to be expensive, the hotel offered a lot of complimentary bottled water, beer, delicious extra sample with our dinner, and more. An impeccable place in a lovely village.

Location was exceptional for the Christmas markets. Literally walked out front door into the market City center within walking distance to restaurants/shopping. They also gave us discount card for museums and covered public transportation. Bar in lobby and flavored water in lobby everyday.
The hotel had the best warm wine at the Christmas market and did give us token for one mug of wine each.

This is an ideally located hotel in the e heart of the town, with good parking facilities adjacent to the hotel. The gym is well stocked with equipment, and the oool a reasonable size. Breakfast was sufficient
Everything. Very smart hotel in a small town. Room and bathroom very clean and comfortable. Easy underground parking. Lovely evening meal eaten outside. Very good selection for breakfast which we ate in the very atmospheric stubli. Staff extremely friendly and informative. Several very nice local cafes to have a beer etc.

Surprisingly they have free beer and water, coffee, tea and apples to the guest, so this is unique and makes a huge difference with the others.

The hotel was very nice (it's upstairs above a Coop grocery store). Everything was fine. Parking is available underground in a public car park for the Coop (as well as the hotel). Very convenient.
Hugely warm, friendly and helpful people at every turn. A lovely hotel with a long history centred on meat - the venison was superb! The cathedral suite was delightful too.
