The location was ideal. The hotel is in a busy walking street that extends for well over a kilometre with lovely shops, restaurants and pubs. Loved the breakfast and the breakfast room which doubled as a packed lunch and dinner venue.

Clean, fancy, close to the city center, awsome breakfast.
Everything. Very smart hotel in a small town. Room and bathroom very clean and comfortable. Easy underground parking. Lovely evening meal eaten outside. Very good selection for breakfast which we ate in the very atmospheric stubli. Staff extremely friendly and informative. Several very nice local cafes to have a beer etc.

Surprisingly they have free beer and water, coffee, tea and apples to the guest, so this is unique and makes a huge difference with the others.

The hotel was very nice (it's upstairs above a Coop grocery store). Everything was fine. Parking is available underground in a public car park for the Coop (as well as the hotel). Very convenient.
Hugely warm, friendly and helpful people at every turn. A lovely hotel with a long history centred on meat - the venison was superb! The cathedral suite was delightful too.
