Comfort Inn, hotel in St. Catharines

Located in downtown St. Catharines, this nonsmoking hotel features a fitness center, complimentary parking and rooms with free Wi-Fi.

The hotel is a nightmare. Our bathroom smelled disgusting the microwave did not work. We got locked out of our room and had to switch rooms after we had unpacked because the door lock battery was not working, the new room lights were burnt out so I had to get replacement bulbs and install. The refrigerator froze all of my vegetables that I brought so I had to throw them out. There were people yelling and screaming in the parking lot at 1:00 am for about a half hour. They said the “ let me cancel the second night” without a penalty. Very poor service and lack of acknowledgment of the issues. Do not go here it is a terrible stay.

Comfortable and Convenient Apartment in Central Niagara, hotel in St. Catharines

Comfortable and Convenient Apartment in Central Niagara in St. Catharines provides accommodations with a garden and barbecue facilities.

I have to call, left messages and texted her when she should’ve sent it already after the confirmed check in time. I got the code after the calls and texting. She should answer her phone especially she’s expecting a guest. I called her before we left if she could come and check the house so I can get the refund, but didn’t get a response. So, until now I didn’t get my refund. That place is so pricey without the refund for a 3 bedroom and 1 bath. Looking forward to hear from you. Thank you.

The Juniper Inn, hotel in St. Catharines

The Juniper Inn is located in St. Catharines, within a 4-minute walk of Lakeside Park Beach and 14 miles of Niagara Falls Train Station.

It’s beautiful, quaint and quirky. Each room is individually designed. We try to stay in a different room every visit. It’s located in the heart of Port Dalhousie. The beach, boats, welcoming diners, and cozy bookshops, it’s the perfect location for a weekend getaway.

I visited St Catharines for the World Rowing Championships so my view of the area is very limited. What I did see was a very attractive town which I passed whilst on a bus. The venue was spectacular and the town put a huge effort in making the event a success especially the fair that ran alongside the regatta.

I find St Catharine is close enough to the falls, shopping at the outlet, wine tours without the extra costs. And St Catharine is close to Port Dalhousie and other attraction's in the area. It is worth to stay there and do a little driving to visit a lot of the areas.

St. Cathartines is a quaint city surrounded by beautiful hills and greenery. The people are very friendly. We enjoyed an afternoon of kayaking on the Martindale Pond. Port Dalhousie is a nice neighborhood with many cafes and restaurants. Shopping and wineries are nearby.

Great area to explore if you're visiting Niagara Falls.

Great area to explore if you're visiting Niagara Falls. Tons of wineries around (we partook of a flight & popcorn at Henry of Pelham), farm stands (Promistery is a must), easy hikes, hanging on the southern shores of Lake Ontario. Port Dalhousie is quaint. Patio Andaluz, the Mexican joint serves a kickin' pitcher of Sangria and excellent chocolaty mole.

We were there for a concert - less than 24 hours.

We were there for a concert - less than 24 hours. However, I've never been to St. Catharines and thought it was much larger, and pleasantly surprised it was not. We were only at the hotel and the Meridian Centre to see Chris de Burgh - which was really wonderful! We did spend the afternoon in Niagara on the Lake. A Twenty minute drive to world class theatre, a charming downtown filled with unique shops and restaurants. The scent of fresh baked goodies and chocolate permeated the air.

I like the hotel's indoor and outdoor pool because you can be in the water regardless of the weather. I liked the fully equipped gym, the jacuzzi, and the sauna. The changing rooms were amazing too, with plenty of space to shower and get dressed. The rooms had plenty of space, and the beds were highly comfortable.
