The house is located in a stunning location on Lake Ontario. The house has views of the lake from windows on 3 sides, a deck facing the lake, the grounds are beautiful and this modern house is equipped with many extras making our visit just like home. Air conditioning was great, everything was comfortable and relaxing. Paul, the owner is available, friendly, easy to contact and stopped by a couple of times working around the property - but not in an obtrusive way. The next door neighbor Gord is very friendly and helpful, too. There are many things to do and see in the area and it is about a 3 minute drive to the Glenora Ferry. A big plus for us - the house is pet friendly.

The Waterfront Restaurant is a great eatery with attractive landscaping and outdoor sitting. You can relax and cruise the river in a pontoon boat or sit in the park and watch and there is a wonderful playground for children. It's a great experience for all ages

Napanee is a great little town.
Napanee is a great little town. We've only ever driven in off the highway to stop for gas but this time we were there for 3 days. We discovered some great restaurants, including one on the waterfront in an old 1800s building and a pub on the main street. There's an awesome coffee shop with the best scones, Coffee Cravings. And for people with kids, the best playground ever, which has a zip-line type ride. Even our 18-year-old loved it.
-Welcoming and friendly owner, even though it was after 22:00 when we arrived
-Very clean room and bathroom
-Large room with a dresser, a small coffee maker and supplies, nice seating area and flat-screen TV
-A good fridge and microwave
-A really good air-conditioning/heating unit with adjustable temperature and fan. It was a hot day/night and the A/C worked beautifully
-A window that opened
-A very comfortable pillow-top bed
The location was perfect, right off the 401, easy to find and the area was quiet.
The buffet breakfast was delicious, of all the hotels we have stayed at in 2 weeks of travel, it is the ONLY one that served bacon instead of sausage 😋. Thank you. I mentioned it to the woman in charge, she was impressed.
I found the bed too uncomfortable. No padding on the mattress like usual. The hotel is under renovations. Somethings weren’t completed in bathroom like the pipes cut out but not covered. Looked unfinished. The furniture didn’t match the rooms colors and worn. But understand doing renovations.
The hotel is well managed and cared for, and I will highly recommend it to anyone I know looking for accommodations in the Napanee area. I also hope to return myself in the near future.
The rooms were nice and clean. The pool was nice and there was a nice picnic area as well. Check-in was convenient and the location is good, near lots of things downtown.
