-The Fake Garden area near indoor pool is nice, attached to it is an old bar area (bar is closed but has a few old tables and chairs, where you can play games on small tables).
-There was a small jacuzzi near the indoor pool, this could be good for relaxing. Property was clean, showers were hot.
-Breakfast was good, with fresh muffins, cereal, toast, yogurt, apples, along with drinks.

We stay here about every 6-7 weeks as we enjoy going to Gananoque and area! We have been staying here for 1 or 2 nights for about 4years now and have never been disappointed or had a complaint! Jenny, the owner is very freindly and always ready to help with anything you may need! During the summer months we always rent a cottage and in the winter when they are closed for the summer we stay in one of their rooms!

Gananoque is centrally located in the Thousand Islands...
Gananoque is centrally located in the Thousand Islands region. I strongly recommend taking City Cruises' 3-hour boat tour or the 5-hour tour with a stop at Bolt Castle when that cruise is running. A short 2-minute walk away are two museums that are worth a visit, one of which gives a short but interesting history of the town and its importance during the War of 1812. The downtown area leaves something to be desired, but there are good restaurants in the town. We ate at Riva and Grarydon's, and I recommend both. They are on the west side of the town in what is clearly a more fashionable area. If you're looking for locally brewed beer and a good hamburger, I recommend the Stonewater Pub. If you want to stay in a larger town that offers more, I suggest that you consider Kingston. It is only about 15-miles downstream at the confluence of the St. Lawrence River and Lake Ontario. It has a number of interesting museums, a nice waterfront, and it is the home of Queens University.

My partner and I went up to Gananoque for the weekend.
My partner and I went up to Gananoque for the weekend. We were fortunate to have great weather for our trip in early October. We were able to explore the region and there was lots to offer. Shopping, good restaurants, etc. we took the 1 hour boat cruise and it was just right. Overall, a great place to stay if you just want to get out of the city for a break.

Very beautiful place to explore if you are tired of the city life. Take a walk at the marina. Feed the birds. Explore the stores and local restaurants. Check out their museum and their lovely churches. Take that Thousand Island cruise!

Enjoyed learning about the history of the area on the 1 hour...
Enjoyed learning about the history of the area on the 1 hour boat trip and how the islands were bought. Unfortunately, it was raining heavily, so we didn't get the best impression, but nevertheless, Ganonoque was a lovely place to spend a couple of days relaxing after the hustle and bustle of Toronto and Niagara. For a small town, there was a lot on offer: theatre, museums, boat trips and walks and cycle rides and a variety of places to eat.

We were fortunate to have beautiful weather for our visit.
We were fortunate to have beautiful weather for our visit. Its quite a busy location and parking is premium. Scenery is just lovely and a plus would be a boat trip on the St Lawrence. We made the trip to Boldt Castle with the stop-over. The 2 hours are not long enough as there is so much to see. As to meals after breakfast we had very light lunches and concentrated on dinner. Being September most restaurants we were able to find a table without booking. The exception was Rivas Italian which was excellent but pricey. The other 2 restaurants we visited were Mavericks and The Old English Pub which were both very good. We will visit this Gananoque again

What a wonderful enviable location!
What a wonderful enviable location! Great to have waterfront amenities like a cafe and seafood restaurant with friendly staff. However, is there intent to extend a waterfront drive?

This was my first time at B&B ever and it exceeded my expectations. The house was beautiful, the breakfast that our host prepared was absolutely delicious and served in such a beautiful setting. The place was so close to downtown Gananoque, as well as the cruises. It was quiet and our room even though small, it was so comfy and we slept so well. Our host Michelle was so kind and did everything to make us feel welcomed, I will for sure come back again!
Easily within walking distance to the center of Gananoque and the Thousand Islands Playhouse. Breakfast was scrumptious; a fresh fruit bowl, yogurt and granola, choice of omelette, eggs, bacon, sausage, Eggs Benedict, pancakes with maple syrup, three jams, coffee or tea. Best B&B breakfast ever!
I like the location, check in host (forgot his name) was friendly and helpful. Area and surroundings was quiet and respectful guests.
Appearance of the hotel was appealing and well maintained.
Hospitality ladies were pleasant.
If we return to Gananoque, you may be sure we'll stay at the Holiday Inn. While we've had more lavish hotel breakfasts, the one we had this morning was just fine.
