Room itself was renovated and pretty clean. Coffee was okay but you had to wait in a line at reception. Prefer to have a coffee maker in the room. Pool was good.

Staff were friendly and helpful...don't let the outside looks decieve you, the inside is great, we enjoyed the deck and the outdoor pool. Breakfast was good and the beds were extremely comfortable. We walked to Wild Wings Restaurant twice as they had great food....convenient and close to everything, we would definitely come back

Location was great but unfortunately it was not clean (empty liquor bottles on the floor), had no working shower and did not offer the breakfast advertised

The town has lovely shops on the Main Street and around the harbour, The cruise line working out of Gananoque - City Cruises by Hornblower - is very efficient and we enjoyed the fireworks cruise that we took. Didn't get a chance to visit the casino or see a play at the 1000 Island Playhouse but during past visits these have been very enjoyable.

Calm, family friendly village.
Calm, family friendly village.
No too many restaurants, two bars available at night, at least this is what we found. We had very nice sunny cool weather in May. Consider sunscreen for sunny days. Watch out from mosquitos at sunset and early evening.
Things to do:
- Visit the 1000 islands tower
- Boat trip to see the islands
- Kids to smin at the "beach", tiny sand beach

Gananoque is always so lovely!
Gananoque is always so lovely! It was a little sleepy with not much going on in April (compared to summer). Love Joel Stone park. Fun to check out the flea market, and boutiques. There is a great forested area near the marina we walked in, but no official trails. I wish City cruises took the opportunity to run cruises the weekend we were there (only ran a cruise in eclipse Monday, and following weekend even though a lot of visitors in town this weekend for eclipse). Great indian restaurant (1000 curries) on King street, and enjoyed great sunset views from Muskie Jack Pub.

Wonderful little town.
Wonderful little town. People are friendly and the place is clean. They take great care of their corner of the world. Beautiful facilities and parks. Small downtown had plenty of shops & restaurants, Sidewalks were clear and well kept. We had a great time and will return in the summer when the season is really humming.

The breakfast was inadequate.
The breakfast was inadequate. There were NO cereals and NO fruit. Breakfast came ALL ON ONE PLATE-including the toast! Coffee came IN A MUG!. Tea was hot water in a pot with a teabag sitting on top! I had brought porridge (oatmeal) with me but I wasn't allowed to get it cooked for me, or put it myself into a microwave.

Lovely little town to explore for couple of days.
Lovely little town to explore for couple of days. Scenic location and great walks. Boat trips couple of minutes walk away. Interesting free museum to visit. We were there in mid Sept and place was very much winding down . Limited choice of boat trips , boat museum closed and many cafes/shops closed.
Colin & Peter are perfect hosts, chefs, travel advisors and raconteurs at their historic and welcoming B&B, located just a 3 min walk from the 1000 Islands Playhouse. Their cooked-to-order gourmet breakfast was excellent as was their knowledge of Gananoque and all of its culinary treasures. The Thursday open-mike live music session across the street at the Stonewater Pub with the musical stylings of the talented David Hale was an added treat. A very enjoyable stay that will hopefully be repeated many times in the future.
The room and common areas were spotless. The pool area was clean and never crowded. Front desk and other staff were friendly & responsive. Went early for breakfast - not busy & great options. Short walk to village amenities (shops, banks, restaurants), parks, beach, trails, boat launch and boat tours. Travelling without kids I've learned to book a business room so it's a little quieter - it was perfect. Best hotel we've stayed at in Gananoque - we'll definitely be back.
I like the location, check in host (forgot his name) was friendly and helpful. Area and surroundings was quiet and respectful guests.
Appearance of the hotel was appealing and well maintained.
Hospitality ladies were pleasant.
Terrible Bfast. Seemed like you had inexperienced cook on staff.
I must admit that it had to be the worst Bfast we have ever experience at a hotel.
