Room was open and available when we arrived. Has cold drinks and snacks. Washer/dryer available! And a workout room. After a long hike it was wonderful to get in the hot tub. Great recommendation for dinner and super close. Breakfast restaurant was just next door so we walked.
Both Wifi and private parking are accessible at Ocean Spray Vacation Home - spectacular sunset views free of charge.

This charming village is a perfect location to explore west side of the Cabot Trail, among many the Skyline trail. There are several good restaurants (a bit $$) and a lovely Cafe (Marguerite). Like all over in Nova Scotia, people are welcoming and friendly.

Cheticamp is a cute town that is pretty small.
Cheticamp is a cute town that is pretty small. Try to find live fiddling music, which we did at Doryman's Pub. The area is also known for rug hooking and there are two shops that specialize in those products. There are a couple of cute restaurants that offer good food, the Seagull being one.

A number of good restaurants.
A number of good restaurants. Local people very helpful and friendly. Gorgeous area including many sites outside of the nearby National Park. Local sites include Gypsum Lake, Cheticamp Island ( causeway access). Harbour Restaurant and Seafood Stop good - plain and simple good Pizza - Pizza Shack - liked veggie explosion. Mr Chicken great for ice cream - only tried the ice cream - small was bigger than we expected. Abundant attractions beyond town.

We enjoyed a visit to the Folk Cafe which was very relaxing.
We enjoyed a visit to the Folk Cafe which was very relaxing. Found inability to walk alongside waterfront frustrating. We visited Cheticamp solely to have a whale watching trip with Captain Zodiac which was extremely enjoyable and successful. We drove part of The Cabot Trail which was OK but we are so used to beautiful scenery at home in Cornwall and Wales, that we did not think the scenery that interesting. Now that we have had our whale watching trip, we would not re-visit.

This is an excellent stopping point on Cabot Trail.
This is an excellent stopping point on Cabot Trail. Good little town, with a few restaurants and boat adventure company. Steeped in French Acadian culture, it's like visiting France and Quebec all at once. Cheticamp is very close to several points of interest on Cabot Trail: famous Skyline Trail, a few other hikes, and good beaches.

A vibrant French Canadian fishing community with very friendly people, great food, be sure to check out Aucoin Bakery where the goods are fresh and you get a lot of bang for your buck. Spectacular scenery bit on the Cavity Trail and ask the locals how to get to the Gypsum Mine which is abandoned but a great spot to go swimming. The sunsets we saw where beautiful. Make your way to the lighthouse on Cheticamp Island at sunset. You won't be disappointed.

The location is excellent, set well back from the road, and with fantastic views out to the front of the property. Good sized room, and spotlessly clean. Ample parking and outside seating to enjoy the evening sun. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and on request provided us with a kettle and the necessities to make tea/coffee in our room. We really enjoyed the breakfast too, it set us up for the day ahead, and our whale trip which was booked in Cheticamp following check out. Thank you. We would definitely stay here again....
It was a lovely spot right in the heart of Cheticamp on the Cabot Trail. Close to restaurants, beaches, golf, whale watching, hiking. The kitchen was very spacious with everything needed, staff friendly, very clean cottage , good water pressure etc.
Situated right by the Cheticamp harbor, 10 minutes from Highlands National Park. Walking distance of various restaurants. Room was big and comfortable- we used the queen bed and the sofa bed. Slept fine on both. Heating worked well.
Staff excellent. This place was not right in town, but cheticamp is so small it was 3 min away. Beautiful place like new. Staff gave all the info we needed.
