We found this place completely by accident and we loved everything about this property! The host was very friendly and provided us with all the info we needed for our stay. There were a private entrance & about 10 stairs to get up to the main room. Inside was tastefully developed with a fireplace, couch, arm chair, tv, table & 2 chairs, coffee/tea/water & the most comfortable bed! The bathroom had a jet tub and a separate shower unit (even had bath salts). On the main floor we had use of a beautiful well stocked kitchen, which we never used! The comforts of home in every way!

Very loud not sound proof. I could hear the conversation from next room makes me wonder about fire safety
Bonavista is incredibly beautiful and worth the drive.
Bonavista is incredibly beautiful and worth the drive. We stayed two nights and wished we had booked longer. There's lots to see and do in the area even if it's just walking around town. Pretty much everything in town is within walking distance. I can't forget to mention the friendliness of the Bonavistians!

Bonavista is stunning.
Bonavista is stunning. We love seeing the puffins at Elliston. We enjoyed the trails at the Dungeon Provincial Park. We even see some whales at shore. We enjoyed the morning visit to The Chimney at Spillars Cove, an UNESCO geosite. Love the seafood (lobster, scallop) there.

Bonavista is a beautiful town with many historical sites to visit and amazing scenery. We had dinner at Skippers restaurant which was great, nice ambiance, and wonderful service. For lunch we ate at the Oceanview - it was located right on the way to the Cape Bonavista lighthouse - good food, great prices, and lovely friendly staff. Bonavista is very easy to navigate and is very walkable with lots of trails. It is also a very convenient place to stay because of its location to other charming villages in the area -like Elliston and Trinity. On my next visit I would like to make my visit longer to allow more time to thoroughly enjoy the natural beauty and local attractions.

People very friendly….it’s Newfoundland !!
People very friendly….it’s Newfoundland !!
Lighthouse a must see. Don’t miss the Puffins at Ellison and Mrs Collins in the store that has everything..
The road to Dungeon is too rough ( enormous potholes) to risk a rental vehicle. Likewise Hwy 237

One night is not enough, we wanted to see as much of Newfoundland as we could, and as such, nowhere did we see all of what we would have loved to see. Were we going to thoroughly explore the area, Russelltown Inn would be the first place we'd look to stay!

The Russelltown Inn was AWESOME.
The owner of the inn was very friendly.
The location was great and we could see water in the distance from our room as we were on the second floor. We stayed in The Loft which was spacious and beautiful.
Breakfast was delivered to our room and made it for a wonderful experience. Will definitely look for a room at Russelltown Inn when coming to Bonavista again.
Aggie was extremely friendly and welcoming, her house is very cosy, the room confortable and nice. The breakfast was very tasty and copious.
The house is not far from bonavista center, a couple of minutes at most driving, but it's also easily doable walking. It was great!
The location, hotel and rooms were all excellent. It was so close to the water and everything in town. The rooms were comfy and were well decorated. We absolutely loved the sitting area in our room. Having access to a kitchen was also great!
