Streets full of holes (craters really) sleeping policemen which are incredibly high with no run up or run off (broke my car suspension there). It's just like, all of a sudden, a lump of concrete appears in the middle of the street, Awful, really awful.
Expensive restaurants that serve very average and, sometimes, very poor food, no good, clean supermarkets general lack of shops.
Deplorable health facilities.
Would be much better off in Porto de Galinhas... Tamandaré wishes to compete with Muro Alto or Porto de Galinhas but, currently it's a good 10 years behind both places.

What a beautiful family owned hotel.
It is very clean and pretty and many little attention for the guest. The location is perfect and there are plenty of things to do near by. I would really recommand this place for a nice and quiet time at the beach without being in the ectic center and other expansive hotel.
The reception staff were very friendly, they were very kind...beautiful beach, warm and transparent waters. Tamandaré and Carneiros beaches are beautiful.
