There are very nice spots to visit from Ponta Grossa sucha as VilaVelha or Buraco do Padre and many more. We felt relatively safe, also at night, in the City. Ponta Grossa has a nice shopping street and a Mall. They have also a City Police, helping that everything stays safe and secure. The sourroundings are quite nice, there is plenty to explore fore a few days.
