A wonderful place and a piece of Germany in Brazil. If you like german food and culture, this is the place for you. "Passeio Pomerano" concentrates restaurants and shops and there are other attractions nearby. The "egg tree" is worth a shot, as well as the larger Easter Egg in the world (right next to the tree).
We were lucky (sort of) to travel during "Festival Gastronômico" (by chance) because the main restaurants take their favorite dishes to the stands and you can try any/many of them (if you can!). We were not parricularly fond of "Rota Enxaimel" but downtown Pomerode is a pearl.

The host Jordana made sure that I had all the info before my arrival, and also helped me with info for Pomerode during my stay. The apartment is very spacious, SUPER CLEAN and really has everything that you need, including in the kitchen.
Nice hotel, clean and modern rooms. Huge and delicious morning breakfast with many choices. Walking distance to everything. Ate at the restaurant across the street, Mon Cheri, was amazing.
