Amazing hotel in the perfect location. Great customer service. Beautiful room with views. Great shower. I appreciate all the kindness given to me by staff including some oxygen at no charge. Potosi is 13000 ft above sea level. They made my stay comfortable even after check out. Close to many amazing restaurants too.
Highly recommend this hotel.

The room was great - very comfortable boutique hotel in Potosí that kindly worked with us on our late arrival coming in from Uyuni. My son loved the cool upstairs loft in our room and we all appreciate the clean room and HOT SHOWER - lovely! The breakfast was very good, and the location was perfect for exploring the town and touring the local area - lots of shops and restaurants within a very short walk and easy to get to tourist sites like the Casa Nacional de la Moneda and to go on a walking city tour (arranged with help from the front desk) to see locations like the Convento Museo Santa Teresa. We enjoyed dinner one of the evenings at the restaurant in the hotel (so good!) and the center courtyard was a wonderful place to sit and enjoy sunny afternoons.
Featuring a terrace with a panoramic views, a skybar and an on-site restaurant, this 160 year old remodeled house offers accommodations in the ancient city of Potosí. Free WiFi access is available.

Always tricky to review a whole city.
Always tricky to review a whole city. Few travellers stay anywhere long enough to properly do anywhere justice. Nevertheless. A charming little colonial era city perched high in the mountains, the mining history of the city is a great draw. Once the center of the Spanish empire's silver mining and minting endeavors, the colonial legacy remains in its attractive architecture and mining industry.
The other main attraction are the national dish of Saltenas which are often said to the best in the country. I can confirm that there s strength to this argument.
The local churches are beautiful and you can get tours of them regularly. The main cathedral is definitely worth a look.
The Mint is usually the main attraction and it interesting and well guided.
The only killer is the altitude which is breathtaking. Ensure you are acclimatized!

Potosi is wonderful/ beautiful and was the richest city in the world for it´s silver. Beautiful architecture and culture. But it lies more than 4000 meters above sea level with a harsh climate and you need help with tours and car rentals

The mine tour is a must-do.
The mine tour is a must-do. Book it through your hostel, because most Bolivian tour companies can't be bothered to keep the information on their websites up to date. Then spend a half-day walking the hilly, narrow streets admiring the faded grandeur of the city's architecture (both in daytime and lit up after dark), and you will have seen what there is to see in Potosi.

Very important historical city as it supplied enormous amount of silver to the Spanish empire. See the Casa de la Moneda, of course, and the Santa Teresa Convent, both of which have good multilingual tours. The eating options in the city are limited, especially when compared to Sucre.

Interesting place!
Interesting place! We actually didn't do a mining tour as we thought it was a bit voyeuristic but a guy we met did and said it was good. The city itself it beautiful with little winding cobblestone streets, and there were lots of interesting churches, plazas and towers to explore :)

Nice place in a good location to access everything in Potosí. The beds are comfortable and there is good Wi-Fi and hot water in the sinks and showers. It is cold in the room but they provide a small heater for the room which was very nice and there are enough blankets to keep you warm but they are very heavy! It was quiet at night. The hosts were helpful and helped us book our onward bus tickets to Tupiza. We left early in the morning and were able to request a takeaway breakfast of sandwiches as we left before breakfast started.
It’s a good place to stay for a night in potosi. The rooms are warm and comfortable (and spacious), breakfast was really good. There’s a kitchen you can use until 9pm as well which is good. The staff were friendly and we did the mines tour that the hostel provides. It was really great. Communal spaces are nice.
