It is an amazing quiet place in the mountain. I like visiting in the summer because of the views and hiking opportunities. I prefer staying in areas like Smolyan Lakes rather than the town or Pamporovo as I like to be far from people. There are a lot of hikes and places to visit (with car, short hikes and long ones). A lot of beautiful views.

It was not my first time in Smolyan but my first time coming...
It was not my first time in Smolyan but my first time coming here alone. I have been mostly in warmer months but I have enjoyed some nice weather as well - I managed to do some proper hiking - going to the Nevyastata area and to the Waterfalls Canyon, as well as exploring the Old Town and the New City center. I should confess that the length of the town is quite challenging even for a person who enjoys walking. I had to take a taxi to go to the Nevyastata but I walked back and it took me more than 2 hours. It was worth it though. I would definitely recommend the restaurant Bulgarche.

Great location and size of the property especially when travelling with kids. The location is very well located very near (literally 50m) from the Smolyan lakes. There are parking spots and play areas nearby as well as an amazing fireplace for a nice and cozy atmosphere in the evening. Can highly recommend this place and the host was very nice, friendly and responsive!

Good and interesting local menu and enjoyable multi level layout giving a slightly quirky element in a mostly non descript town. Staff were mostly young and very pleasant although offered no advice or information unless directly asked.
The location is great. The hotel room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The restaurant is decorated well. The finish sauna and steam room were good. The restaurant food when ordered on an evening meal is exceptional. Great evening chef.
The location is very nice in the woods if you like hiking its ideal. Breakfast was superb and the food in the restaurant is also great. Staff is polite, rooms were very clean and the hotel is in great shape.
