Our host Hilde was super friendly - it was great meeting you! The property is very clean, comfortable and lovingly maintained. There's everything one might need, and even more, e.g., it's possible to cook, to sit in the garden to enjoy the sun, etc., and there's plenty of space to park. It's just amazing to live among the animals (sheep, cats, dogs, alpacas, a duck and a goat), to wake up to the rooster crowing, and to enjoy superb Belgian beer in the region.

The room was really nice and the location at the town centre is excellent. The included breakfast was also one of the best buffet breakfasts we had during our trip. Robbe was super helpful and a pleasure to deal with.
This place is a little gem sitting in the quiet country side. For those visiting Sint Sixtus or In De Vrede to experience the world famous Westvleteren beer, this is THE place to stay. You can walk to the cafe in about 10-15 minutes so you don’t have to worry about driving. It has a quiet and relaxing environment. The breakfast was the real learning experience. The host makes her own jams, honey and yogurt, amongst other things. It was a wonderful experience and will stay there again when we return.
Wonderful small hotel in a rural village. The hotel is a haven of peace and tranquility, with spacious rooms and a lovely reading room upstairs. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast has a decent selection of breads, cheese, cold cuts, yoghurt and eggs made to order.
