The multilingual receptionist was super helpful, including about the surroundings! The staff was also super helpful when I couldn't find the (unusual) way of switching from the bathtub's faucet to the shower function (just pull the tip of the faucet down). The bed, many pillows, many towels, tea set, choice of TV channels, etc were great. I felt the 20-euro breakfast was fine if you intended to make it a whole brunch, otherwise it's too expensive for just 2 slices of bread and a cup of coffee. So I had what I needed in my bedroom. The view to the quiet, old-fashioned (but clean & renovated) street was fine too. I strongly recommend the women's apparel shop across the street from the hotel in the Vlamingstraat (n°9), "Amorie": great quality for value (which is not always the case in the expensive nearby commercial street Ooststraat), helpful staff (and not pushy, unlike some of those salespeople on the Ooststraat). The Parkhotel receptionist warned me that if you need a hairdresser in the neighborhood, you had better set an appointment in advance, and before 6pm. Roeselare/Roulers is great! Recommended too!
Simple yet modern rooms with a free buffet breakfast are offered at Bis, just outside the center of Roeselare. This hotel has a terrace and a cozy bar.

The location can't be beat. It is directly across from the train station. I was concerned that there would be a lot of noise from the station, but the sound doesn't carry into the house. The rooms were reasonably quiet even though it is possible to hear an occasional crying baby or drunk in the street. The apartment is stunning. The bed was wonderful. I liked that access was controlled by door codes.

Various beautiful buildings in a garden setting, from the look of it mostly meant as restaurants and for holding meetings. In one of the buildings there were three rooms was on the first floor reachable by stair.

Unfortunately this was a business trip and I did not get time to explore Roeselare. We did eat at the Hotel which had a good variety of food choices. Great breakfast choice and very quiet at night. This is especially great for business travelers. The location was great as the company's location was withing 10 mins of the hotel. The staff was very friendly and very helpful.

Spacious bed and room. Friendly staff, automatic roof window, AC. Good place for a single person or a couple if you're only looking for a couple of nights sleep over or staying for the wellness options. Easy to find, free parking (5/6 spots max) We only stayed here as my niece got married closeby and so the location was good for us, but if you're on holiday, then you're far away from everything, unless you're driving and don't mind.
Ideal position for a base to go and See the Tour of Flanders - there's also a great restaurant about 10 houses away. Very clean and tidy, parking easy, breakfast really good - there's nothing not to like about it
Room was very good, great shower, a big television and plenty of power outlets. Reception staff was great and I could park in front of the hotel for free!
