It is remote, quiet, and charming, probably even more in summer. I definitely would visit again, but next time, only with a car. The closest bus station is a half-hour walk away and only on work days. The taxi is pretty expensive.

This was a perfect overnight stop on the way from Dunkirk ferry port to the Netherlands. Not far from the main roads, but in a lovely quiet rural location next to a canal. Our hosts were very welcoming and spoke excellent English. We enjoyed having a drink at an outdoor table, watching the cyclists go by on the cycle lanes, and the food was great. Our room was comfortable and attractive, and had everything we needed, with a nice countryside view from the window. Breakfast was excellent, served at a set time with no choice except whether or not to have an egg, but everything that was brought to us was exactly what we would have chosen. Very cycle-friendly - we'd like to return on bikes one day!

It’s well located if you are driving. Next to a canal and a beautiful forest with a back road that takes you all the way to Bruges. Rooms are clean and silent , bathroom has a good size and the staff is super friendly. It’s the perfect place for a couple to spend the night when visiting the region. Free parking is available.

Robin is amazing, so welcoming and friendly. The warm atmosphere makes you feel very comfortable and in good hands.
Very knowledgeable of local area and very happy to help with any questions you may have.
The room was amazing and extremely comfortable so much so that we returned earlier than usually would from an evening out to relax in the room.
Having a wife, who owns her own cleaning company, expressing that she was very impressed with the cleanliness and presentation of the whole venue is testament to Robin and his team.
The view of the stunning church opposite was an additional unexpected treat.
We will most definitely be returning to stay here.

Such a beautiful part of the country. We loved bicycling around the countryside and taking our bikes into old town. The local walking tours were informative and interesting. It's a wonderful place to be!

Easy check in helpful host, everything you could possibly require, fantastic bistro extremely close, pub as part of the bistro with indoor smoking area for those who appertain, which is totally screened off, lovely castle round the corner.

very charming very little place, excellent night illumination, some good restaurants and bars (but empty after 21:00), fabulous canals with very good biking facilities, close to Brugge and to the sea. beautiful night exhibition of old telephone cells which read you poems, houses full of little taken care of details, nice churches and some historical buildings

Damme is small and beautiful, and not far from Bruges and the coast. there are walks you can do along the canals, it's typical. Parking is free just outside the city (5 min walk to city center --> easy)

This hotel feels truly like home. We really enjoyed our one night stay while visiting Brugge, which is only 15 min drive from the hotel.
Staff was very helpful and kind at all times and the breakfast was amazing!
All facilities are cared in detail and the room was very comfortable and beautiful. I would recommend staying in this hotel for anyone who is willing to feel like at home while exploring the area!
We booked the "vakantiewoning" in Damme for 1 week. It's perfectly situated: living in the country side, you can follow the channel from the center of Damme to the city of Brugge in only 30 minutes by bike. The house interior is brand new and of very high quality - perfect! Nice garden terrace for sunny days. The communication with the owner worked very well.
Large clean room in the centre of the stunning Flemish village of Damme. It has a large car park at the rear of the property, which is very handy if you want to keep your vehicle hidden away. There are several restaurants within a few steps of the Guest House and the village itself is lovely.
Comfortable, cosy and stylish house in the heart of Damme, exactly what we were looking for. Very well equipped and amazing inner terrace, a real gem! On top of everything we had 3 bikes for the weekend - enormous rides along canals and in countryside:)
The location of the B&B is great, very quiet and still close to the center of Damme. The room (little cottage) was very nice. The hospitality was superb and the breakfast was amazing.
