The location is great, Radisson is located opposite the beautiful Antwerp train station and hotel guests can easily excess the old town by foot. Room is a bit dated, but very comfortable plus a gorgeous view of the Train station. Breakfast is very delicious, but cold station is not rich. I expected more.

As the world’s largest diamond-cutting city, Antwerp (Anvers in French) is naturally affluent. It comes as no surprise then that fashion is also of utmost importance, so the shopping here is excellent. It may not be the cheapest place, but the quality certainly matches the price.
Another big business in Antwerp is the port, one of Europe’s largest. Take a cruise around to admire its scale. The Scheldt River leads from the port into the city, and on its banks are a handful of interesting museums and Het Steen, a medieval castle built to protect the city against Viking invasions.
A few streets back is the Grote Markt, a beautiful square flanked by the grand town hall and 16th-century guildhouses – a typically Belgian scene. Behind this is UNESCO World Heritage-listed Antwerp Cathedral, whose asymmetrical towers look down over Groenplaats, a tranquil square filled with pavement cafes. Belgian beer is legendary and the local brew is De Koninck, which packs quite a punch.
In the south of the city is the most unusual sight – Wilrijk’s huge Jain Temple, one of the largest outside India. A little further east is Antwerp Airport, efficiently connected by public transport to the Antwerp hotels, guest houses and apartments that are available on Booking.com.

Impressive city centre/old town with a wide range of historic buildings, wide range of shops and restaurants. Quieter neighbourhoods, especially round the university, contrasts with the bustle of the main shopping streets.
Many of the side streets are quiet with little traffic. Drivers are courteous and considerate of pedestrians

We had a quick stop in Antwerp on our road trip.
We had a quick stop in Antwerp on our road trip. We visited recommended spots from family. The Mandarin had excellent Lebanese food and amazing decor! We walked around Het Steen and through the streets to Grote Market and Central Station. It would be nice to visit when there were not concerts as many barricades were set up in Grote Market and around the Brabo fountain. We had read about the history and legends of the buildings and statues before visiting so it was very interesting to see it all in person.

This destination offers a delightful blend of history, culture, and modern charm. The medieval squares and buildings transport visitors back in time, allowing them to immerse themselves in the rich architectural heritage. Wandering through these historic areas feels like stepping into a living museum, with every corner revealing a story. The influence of the Art Deco movement adds a layer of sophistication and elegance, seamlessly integrating with the old-world charm. Beautifully designed facades and structures catch the eye, making it a perfect destination for art and architecture enthusiasts.
Beyond the visual appeal, the city boasts a vibrant culinary scene. The restaurants, ranging from cozy cafes to upscale dining experiences, offer a diverse array of flavors, satisfying both casual diners and food connoisseurs alike. The local cuisine is often inspired by its maritime setting, with fresh seafood being a highlight on many menus. This maritime atmosphere permeates the city, giving it a unique coastal flair that sets it apart from other historic towns.
In addition to its architectural and gastronomic attractions, the city pulsates with culture. Museums, galleries, and cultural events abound, offering visitors numerous ways to engage with the local traditions and history. A perfect blend of the old and new, this destination is truly captivating.

This is a great location for a first stay in Antwerp.
This is a great location for a first stay in Antwerp. It is located roughly halfway between downtown and the station giving you easy access to most of the city. The little cafe in the lobby was priced well and had a variety of sweets and food and drink. The staff spoke English, Dutch, and French and knew what most people needed. Check in was faceless, as was check-out making it quick and easy. Elevators were secure and required key card. The only negative I found was the thin walls. If you are a light sleeper be prepared. Another minor thing is lack of washcloth which is a Europe thing so bring a loofah.

Beautiful city but very expensive for dining out and drinking. Was disappointed that for a country where beer is popular you almost can't get a proper Pint anywhere (always 250ml or 330ml on tap which is crazy) and when you do find a place that offers proper pints you pay over 8euro for one.
I had a lovely stay in prizeotel Antwerp-City - the hotel is located in a great part of the city (close to the old centre, to the railway station - a beautiful one! - and to the university, where my conference took place), staff is super-nice and very helpful and the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty too, with a lot of options to choose and everything was always fresh.
The Hotel is at a great location, fifteen minutes of enjoyable walk from Antwerpen-Centraal train station which is connected to others and the Brussels airport station. The street isn't too busy, close to parks and other places where you can find time to relax from obligations and the city. Highly recommend Rivierenhof park to the east.
This is my default hotel in Antwerp. Right next to the railways station. Great connections to the metro/tram network. Taxi rank outside if needed. Wonderful buffet breakfast. Friendly staff. Highly recommended!
Best hotel. 5 minutes walk to Reb Leibish and right in the centre of Antwerp. Staff are really nice and hotel is in proper good condition. Thanks for organising us a room downstairs.
