It matters, when you plan to visit, we could not roam around due to severe flood. But in winter you can enjoy many places, specially tea garden and Shada Pathor or Ratargul Swamp forest.
Sylhet is also a historical place, so get some idea before planning.

Sylhet is fantastic for nature lovers. It has got scenic beauty and a variety of landscapes. A one-week plan would be the best but 4 days can be tightly okay. Places recommended are Jaflong, Khashia Palli, Lalakhal, Bholagonj Shada Pathor, Ratargul, Parjatan Motel, Adventure Park, Malnichara Tea Estate, Shrine of Hazrat Shah Jalal (r), Khadimnagar Reserve Forest, Noorjahan Tea Garden, Baikka Beel, Sreemanagal Tea Garden, Lauwachhara Reserve Forest, Madhabkundo Waterfall, Old Bridge, etc. There are many eateries including Panshi and Panch Bhai.

As frequent traveller Grand Sylhet really exceeded my expectations with great facilities, dining and great customer service, the hotel staff went above and beyond and made us feel very welcome!
Also great location very close to airport and only 10 mins away from Sylhet central so you can easily do your shopping or eat out with great choice of restaurants in Sylhet.

The host ensured all measures for the comfort of the guest. Location food service and hygiene was impeccable. It's a hidden gem for those wishing a great and exclusive stay in Sylhet. Very near to airport and could arrange pick up with the host.
The hotel is close to the Shah Jalal Dargah and the tea shops nearby. Breakfast was delicious. They have a really good restaurant. The room was large and comfortable.
I like the new air condition, free wifi, tea or copy setup, flat tv and service the bed was Comfortable anf the hotel is value for money. The food was delicius.y
