Plenty to do in Wollongong. beaches, restaurants, cafes and plenty of stuff for the kids to do as well. The beautiful Southern Highlands only an hour away and further south of Wollongong there's a load of beaches and beautiful scenery to experience. Easy to get around but would suggest having you own vehicle.

    Wollongong is underrated.

Wollongong is underrated. Great beaches, great walking and cycling. It is easy to get to and easy to get around. We normally come down for day trips but the overnighjt stay was great for going to a local performance.

Wollongong itself is easily accessible by train from the Sydney airport and there are beautiful beaches and great food. The streets at night don't feel the safest. I would not recommend walking around alone once the sun goes down. However, I would definitely recommend this as a nice weekend getaway spot.

    Fantastic beachside city.

Fantastic beachside city. All the amenities / convenience of a big city bundled into pedestrian friendly smaller city. Restaurants, nightlife, cafes, beaches, golfing, scooter / bike rentals ... what's not to like!?

Really lovely new and modern apartments. Staff were very helpful allowing me to use the stairs as I wasn’t keen on the lift, personal preference, there was nothing wrong with the lifts. The room was clean, kitchen had everything you need to make a homemade meal, laundry was hidden away but had everything you need, even the little throw blanket on the lounge was a nice touch that just made the place feel like home. Would most certainly recommend this place.

Hotel Totto was perfectly and centrally located within Wollongong CBD. It was easy to get to and we were very happy with the style, comfort-level and cleanliness of the space. It was very stylish for such a small space and we appreciated the little touches that meant you didn't feel you were in a small space, even though you were.
